Rinda Jordan

Specialization: Rinda Jordan is a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in adult, adolescent and child psychiatry. She works closely with her patients, combining a firm grounding in psychiatric medical care with the unshakeable faith that they can find and thrive on their unique strengths and values. Her goal is to help her patients meet the challenges they face and enjoy happy, healthful lives.

Education & Training: Rinda received a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Prior to working at the Meier Clinic, she was a nurse practitioner at the Holiner Psychiatric Group, providing both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care. She also has extensive patient care experience in community health, emergency room, and urgent care settings, as well as in schools and summer camps for children. Rinda is board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, and is nationally certified as a Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.

Additional Info: Rinda likes to spend her free time traveling, hiking, volunteering in church ministries and watching a good football game. Her considerable appetite for reading ranges from science to biographies to current novels. She is proud to have raised three sons who happily pursue the goals that affirm their beliefs and values.
